1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website (olingroupwa.com) or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

Olin Group LLC ("we," "us," "our") provides Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) consulting services to businesses in King County and the Puget Sound region.

2. Services Provided

We offer the following services (see our services page for details):

• GEO Audit: Analysis of current AI visibility with recommendations
• Foundation Package: Done-for-you GEO implementation over 60-90 days
• AI Visibility Defense & Growth: Ongoing monthly optimization and monitoring

Specific service details, deliverables, timelines, and pricing are outlined in individual service agreements or proposals provided to clients.

3. Service Agreements

Engagement Process

Services begin upon:

• Mutual agreement on scope, timeline, and pricing
• Signed service agreement or proposal acceptance
• Receipt of payment or deposit (as specified in agreement)

Client Responsibilities

To receive services, clients agree to:

• Provide accurate information about their business
• Grant necessary access to websites, Google Business Profile, and other platforms
• Respond to requests for information or feedback promptly
• Implement any client-side actions outlined in recommendations
• Make payment according to the agreed terms

4. Payment Terms

Pricing

Service pricing is as quoted in individual proposals or service agreements. Prices are subject to change, but any changes will not affect services already under contract.

Payment Schedule

• GEO Audit: Payment due upfront before work begins
• Foundation Package: 50% deposit upfront, 50% upon completion (unless otherwise specified)
• Ongoing Services: Monthly billing, payment due on the 1st of each month

Late Payment

Invoices unpaid after 15 days may incur a 1.5% monthly late fee. Services may be suspended for accounts more than 30 days past due.

Refund Policy

• GEO Audit: Refundable if you're not satisfied with the audit quality (request within 14 days of delivery)
• Foundation Package: Deposits are non-refundable once work begins. If a minimum 30% improvement guarantee is not met, we continue working at no additional cost.
• Ongoing Services: You may cancel with 30 days' written notice after the minimum commitment period. No refunds for partial months.

5. Results and Guarantees

What We Guarantee

Foundation Package: Minimum 30% improvement in AI visibility score, or we continue working at no additional cost until achieved.

What We Don't Guarantee

We cannot and do not guarantee:

• Specific rankings in AI platform responses
• Exact number of new clients or leads
• Results from factors outside our control (client implementation, market changes, AI platform algorithm changes)
• Specific positions in traditional search engine results (we provide GEO, not SEO)

Important: AI platforms are constantly evolving. While we use best practices and stay current with platform changes, we cannot control how AI platforms operate or what they recommend.

6. Intellectual Property

Client Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of:

• Your business information and branding
• Content created specifically for your business (website copy, FAQ answers, and related deliverables)
• Your website, profiles, and online properties

Olin Group Materials

We retain ownership of:

• Our methodologies, processes, and frameworks
• Templates and tools we've developed
• Research data and benchmarks (2026 AI Visibility Index)
• Report formats and presentation materials

License to Use

Upon full payment, clients receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use any materials we create specifically for them (content, reports, strategies) for their own business purposes.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential information private, including:

• Your information: Business strategies, financial information, proprietary data
• Our information: Methodologies, pricing structures, client lists

Exceptions: Information that is publicly available, required by law to disclose, or necessary to deliver services (e.g., sharing website URL with third-party tools).

Testimonials and Case Studies

We may request permission to use your business as a case study or testimonial. This requires your explicit written consent. You may decline without affecting services.

8. Termination

Client-Initiated Termination

• Audit: No cancellation after work begins (typically 10 business days)
• Foundation Package: May terminate with 30 days' written notice. The deposit is non-refundable; the remaining balance is prorated based on the work completed.
• Ongoing Services: May terminate with 30 days' written notice after the minimum commitment period (typically 6 months)

Our Right to Terminate

We may terminate services if:

• Payment is more than 30 days overdue
• Client fails to provide necessary access or cooperation
• Client engages in abusive, threatening, or unprofessional behavior
• Client requests unethical or illegal practices

In such cases, you will be refunded for any prepaid services not yet delivered.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Olin Group LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Lost profits or revenue
• Loss of business opportunities
• Loss of data or information
• Cost of substitute services

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service in question.

Exceptions: This limitation does not apply to liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or violations of law.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Specific results or outcomes
• Accuracy or completeness of any information

We use commercially reasonable efforts to provide quality services, but we cannot guarantee perfection or specific outcomes.

11. Third-Party Services

Our services may involve the use of third-party platforms and tools, including:

• AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google Gemini)
• Google Business Profile
• Analytics tools (Google Analytics)
• CRM and communication tools (HubSpot, email services)

We are not responsible for the operation, availability, or policies of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and conditions.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make changes:

• We will update the "Last updated" date at the top
• For material changes, we will provide notice via email or website
• Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance

Changes do not apply retroactively to services already under contract unless mutually agreed.

13. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

If a dispute arises, we agree to first attempt to resolve it informally through good-faith discussion.

Mediation

If informal resolution fails, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Jurisdiction

Any legal action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.

14. General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with any signed service agreements and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Olin Group LLC.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights to any successor or affiliate.

Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, or government actions.
